During this 100 hour blended learning intensive you will learn how to hold others in a sacred sound container based off ancient wisdom, indigenous traditions and modern techniques.

Sound is powerful in all its shapes and tones. It is a tool that can shift your energetic landscape, create space to integrate what feels dissonant, and somatically reach into emotional layers.

This training covers a wide range of sound instruments in depth — from Crystal Bowls to the Drum and Flute, to Tuning Forks and the Gong, you will complete this training with an understanding of how to use a plethora of sound healing instruments.

It is a curriculum designed to offer both breadth and depth, so that you not only study diverse tools but also how to embody their effects and ensure your sound containers are held in integrity.

Module 1: The History & Science of Sound Healing

Foundations of continuous breath for transformation and regulation. Explore origins, purpose, contraindications, retentions, and methodologies. Includes guided practice, observation, partner PNF work and active practical group teaching sessions.

Module 2: Indigenous cultures, Shamanism and the Use of Sound

Add a depth and layer to your facilitation that sets your sessions apart. Discover how rhythm shapes experience. Practice timing breath with counts, sound, and movement. Learn about entrainment, playlist design, and leading with percussion.

Module 3: The Power of the Voice, Voice Activation & Tools

Root into the variations of yogic breath practices. Study history, purpose, and key techniques, linking tradition with modern science and polyvagal theory. Includes safe and effective practicum.

Module 4: Crystal Bowls

Understand the body’s mechanics of breathing. Explore respiratory system, nervous system pathways, gas exchange, posture, and applied anatomy for safe facilitation.

Module 5: Drum - The Lower World

Train the breath as a tool for resilience, endurance, and energy. Explore techniques for athletes, performance enhancement, and recovery, alongside applying the science of oxygen efficiency.

Module 6: Rattle - The Middle World

Harness the synergy of breath work ,cold exposure. and contrast therapy Learn safety protocols, the science of cold adaptation, and the alchemy of combining breath with water immersion.

Module 7: Flute - The Upper World

Develop skills to guide transformational journeys. Explore SOft skills, class structure, space design, sound, and physical/energetic assists.

Module 8: Tuning Forks

Learn principles of trauma awareness to ensure safe and ethical facilitation. Explore consent, choice, boundary setting, and how to recognise and support participants experiencing overwhelm.

Module 9: Tibetan Bowls & Gong

Learn how to share your work with confidence. Build your brand, pathways to gain experience, and create opportunities for collaboration, retreats, and community facilitation.

Shala & Sage is the perfect location to begin our in person intensives. This well equipped and personable space makes for an intimate environment where practitioners can begin to build confidence in the foundations of their facilitation.

In these three weekend immersions participants begin to cultivate their connection with different sound healing instruments and cultivate an understanding of facilitating sound journeys in its varying environments and settings. These weekend intensives lay a strong foundation of working with sound and have a strong focus on practical experience.

Meet Your Host

Rachael Love, is an Australian Medicine Woman, Sound Therapist, Energy Healer, Psychic, and Wellness Coach and has been facilitating within the wellness space for half a decade.

Rooted in ancient and modern healing modalities, she holds qualifications in Shamanic Healing, Reiki, Sound Healing, Time Line Therapy, Hypnotherapy, NLP, Coaching, is a passionate Drum Birther and has made it her mission to connect more people back to their inner knowing, leading her to facilitate and also train others with the spirit of Cacao, and the medicine of Sound Healing.

She is also a sacred Mesa carrier and is part of a Peruvian Medicine Wheel based of the Q'ero Indigenous tradition.

Bridging the realms of spirituality and science, Rachael weaves a comprehensive transformational experience, connecting individuals back to the natural rhythms of life and nature.

Guest Facilitator - Annie Hackwell

Annie Hackwell is a somatic therapist, trauma-informed bodyworker, and movement facilitator.
She weaves together Holosomatic
Bodywork, Breathwork, Reiki, Tantric energy activation, and nervous system healing to guide people back into connection with their bodies and inner wisdom.

Her work is rooted in her own journey through chronic disconnection and emotional overwhelm.
Through embodied practice and intuitive energetic work, she experienced deep integration unraveling patterns held in the body and rebuilding a relationship with herself grounded in safety and self trust.

Now, Annie creates gentle, intuitively led spaces where healing unfolds at the body's pace. Deeply trauma-informed, she honours choice. nervous system resilience, and the slow rhythms required for real transformation.
For her, safety is the foundation that makes change possible.

Guest Facilitator: Arran Burton - Looking Flutes

For as long as he can remember, Arran Burton of Looking Flutes has been making, painting and imagining other worlds and creatures. He creates because, as he says, his soul demands it

His flutes, birthed from love and devotion, often depict the animals he encounters, honouring them through the prayers played through each instrument. Drawing on Native American-style flutes and Mesoamerican multi-chambered flutes, his work carries deeply enchanting and emotional voices. Many are adorned with crystals and gemstones, each one made with intention and care.

Arran has made a solid name for himself in the flute-making world, with his instruments finding new homes across the globe. Alongside crafting these sacred instruments, he loves to perform with them intuitively, creating rich, visual soundscapes for listeners, where each person's experience and interpretation is uniquely their own.

He will be joining us on the training to share his wisdom, play flutes and will also be offerings flutes for purchase to all sound students.

Do I need any prior experience for this training?

No, you don't need any prior experience to join the training, just a will to learn and a calling to help others.

Are there any contraindications for participating?

This training is for training purposes only and should not go against any advice given by a medical practitioner. Participation means you are aware of the contraindications of sound and if any are present you have consulted with a health advisor beforehand to ensure your safety and suitability. Simhá Wellness will not give medical advice.

Do you allow payment plans?

Yes! A minimum deposit of £400 is required to secure your place within the training. The remaining payments can then be scheduled in instalments & must be paid off by graduation.

What's not included in the price?

All transport to the in person weekend training days is the responsibility of the participant.
