Wayunki Chime

Wayunki is a distinctive sound instrument created in 2018 from a vision to explore the relationship between vibration, resonance and consciousness.

Its origins lie in a profound sound experience during a ceremonial journey, which inspired its maker, Ondřej Janoušek, to develop an entirely new instrument. What emerged was not a replica of anything that came before it, but something with its own unmistakable voice — gentle, resonant and deeply atmospheric.

Today, Wayunki is used by sound practitioners, musicians and meditation facilitators around the world for sound baths, meditation, relaxation, ceremonial work, therapeutic practices and intuitive music-making.

Wayunki produces beautifully soft, rounded tones with a natural sense of resonance and sustain. Its carefully selected tunings are designed so that the notes sit harmoniously together, making the instrument remarkably intuitive to play.

Each chimes comes with a bag, wooden mallet with silicon striker and add on suspended silicon ball chime that creates a soft and subtle flowing tone when swung.
